A hold is a request by a user to be the next borrower when an item is returned. Users can request a book to be on hold via phone or at the circulation desk.
A Hold Arrival Notice will be sent to the patron once the book is checked-in at the Circulation Desk, and will be reserved for 3 days, after which the item will be re-shelved if not picked up.
